In most cases, we will provide treatment during your first visit, depending on your assessment.
Your chiropractor will tell you if they think you would require an image/scan. In most cases, an image/scan is not necessary. In rare occasions, a scan may be suggested to better assess the cause of pain, if the cause is unclear. If an image/scan is suggested by your chiropractor they will tell you why and speak with you regarding options for a scan; such as contacting your GP with your consent, or via private healthcare if you would prefer.
Yes. There are a wide range of conditions that can be treated by chiropractic, and we can address multiple concerns during your appointments. In a complex case, your chiropractor may suggest to focus on just one area initially before addressing other areas in future sessions.
An initial consultation (your first session) will last 45 minutes to 1 hour, follow-up treatments will last 15 to 20 minutes. This allows us ample time to assess and treat your needs.
No referral is necessary to book an appointment with us.
While it's not required, keeping your doctor informed about your chiropractic care can be beneficial.
